Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Bynder B.V. (“Bynder AI”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the Bynder AI platform, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
It applies to bynder-ai.com, the customer dashboard, our documentation site, and any related APIs and integrations (the “Services”).
Data we collect
We collect only what we need to operate the Services:
- Account data — name, email, password hash, workspace and role.
- Billing data — credit balance, order history, promo code usage, chosen currency, and payment method (processed by our payment providers, not stored on our servers in full).
- Product data — prospect lists, campaign copy, sequence settings and results that you or your teammates upload or generate through the Services.
- Technical data — IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, timestamps and diagnostic logs.
- Support data — messages you send to [email protected].
How we use your data
- Provide, secure and improve the Services.
- Authenticate you and protect against fraud and abuse.
- Process orders, credit purchases and refunds.
- Send transactional emails (order confirmations, bank transfer details, password resets).
- Send product updates and marketing — only where permitted, and always with an unsubscribe link.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Contract — to deliver the Services you purchased.
- Legitimate interest — to secure, debug and improve the Services.
- Consent — for optional analytics and marketing cookies.
- Legal obligation — accounting, tax and law-enforcement requests.
Retention
We retain account data for as long as your workspace is active. When you close your account we delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except records we must retain for tax, accounting or legal reasons (typically up to 7 years).
Security
We encrypt data in transit with TLS 1.2+ and at rest using AES-256. Access to production systems is scoped, logged and reviewed. No system is perfectly secure — if you discover a vulnerability, please email [email protected].
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct or delete your personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Port your data to another provider.
- Lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.

Children
The Services are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy. We will notify you of material changes by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
